Position Overview:

We are actively looking for a seasoned and innovative Head of Sales and Marketing to spearhead our sales and marketing strategies for our diverse portfolio of our IT services. These services encompass a wide range, including Custom Application Development/Support, ERP Services, and Cloud/ Cyber Security Solutions, along with top-tier products tailored for various industry verticals such as Logistics (WMS), Maritime (Port Agency), Travel, Goods & Services Trading, and BFSI.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record in IT services sales, B2B sales, product sales, pre-sales, and marketing leadership. We are seeking someone with a strong focus on delivering results and a strategic mindset to drive success across key regions including India, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the United States. Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Spearheading the sales and marketing efforts for the company's IT services and products across various industry verticals.
    • Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth, achieve business goals and objective and enhance market share.
    • Identify market opportunities and define sales and marketing plans to maximize market penetration and profitability.
  • Marketing Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, recognition, and support sales efforts.
    • Ensuring consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
    • Managing marketing budgets, allocating resources, and se􀆫ng marketing goals.
    • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, campaigns, and events.
    • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies.
  • Team Management:
    • Leading and managing sales and marketing teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
    • Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the teams.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell.
    • Ensuring high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty through effective account management, service delivery, regular communication.
    • Handle high-level client negotiations and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Market Analysis and Intelligence:
    • Conducting market research and analysis to stay ahead of competitors and identify new opportunities.
    • Providing market insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Tracking and analysing sales and marketing performance metrics, including revenue, customer acquisition costs, and return on investment.
    • Providing regular reports and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships:
    • Building and maintaining partnerships with other business units, vendors, and industry partners to drive growth and innovation.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and services.
    • Building partnerships with complementing products, resellers, and other channels.
  • Product Sales:
    • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure offerings meet market needs.
    • Provide feedback on product enhancements and new product development based on market demand.
    • Drive product innovation and leveraging technologies to be competitive with progressive mindset.
  • Pre-sales:
    • Leading and managing pre-sales team for lead generation, RFP, proposal, bidding.
    • High involvement in contract negotiations, solution reviews, Estimations, pricing, partnerbased solutions, and client meetings etc.
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and manage sales and marketing budgets.
    • Monitor and report on sales and marketing metrics and financial performance.

Overall, the Head of Sales and Marketing plays a critical role in driving business growth, enhancing market share, and increasing revenue for the company. They must possess strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the IT industry and market trends.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 15-20+ years of experience in sales and marketing, specifically in B2B, product sales, IT services, and cloud services.
